MERCEDES BENZ UNVEILED THE FIRST EVER- AMG GT BLACK Series in India, PRICE STARTS FROM Rs 5.50 Cr

  

Luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz unveiled the first-ever AMG GT Black Series in India.

This beautiful supercar is priced at  Rs 5.50 Cr and price may go up depending on individual configurations.

The company claims that it is the most fastest and powerful AMG ever. The Black series has a 4litre V8 Engine that develops 537 kW(730 hp) enabling the two-door vehicle to 

accelerate from 0 to 100  km/hr in 3.2 seconds and 0 to 200 km/hr under 9 seconds. It has a top-speed of 325km/hr.

In comparison to the previous V8 engines used in the AMGs, the Black Series comes with a ‘flat crankshaft’ variant of the V8 engine to ensure smoothness and high torque at low rotational speeds. It achieves 537 kW (730 hp) at 6700-6900 rpm and has maximum torque of 800 Nm at 2000-

6000 rpm.

The AMG Traction Control has been tailored to enable the driver to get individual support for controlling the Black Series.

Martin Schwenk, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India delivered the first-ever AMG GT Black Series in India to supercar enthusiast Bhoopesh Reddy. Reddy already owns top-end Mercedes-Benz supercars such as SLS AMG and AMG G 63.

Schwenk said that the supercar was the closest proximity to motor racing.

"The delivery of the AMG GT Black Series strongly emphasizes our commitment towards introducing the most desirable and exclusive products from our global portfolio for performance purists in India," the ceo added.

Based on their allocation, the company has decided that they will deliver only two units of this supercar in India. The second unit of the Black Series will be delivered to another customer next month.
